KORONA KOLPORTER KIELCE
Finances: Good
Stadium: Fall Round will be played on Stadium przy ulicy Szczepaniaka
and the Spring will be played on a brand new stadium. New one will hold up to 15,000

Heres some updates on the construction :

Positive effects: Great Stadium, Well budgeted club, Big City gets I Liga action, Stadium should be filled everygame

GKS BELCHATOW

Finances: Good
Stadium: One of my favorites, above average even in Ekstraklasa.

Positives: Good Budget Club

ARKA GDYNIA

FInances: Average
Stadium: Average (I dont think its even their stadium)

Positives: Big City in Ekstraklasa
Negatives: Their Hooligan fans, "Bojcie sie hamy do Ekstraklasy wracamy" Rolling Eyes

Well the GKS and Korona are a huge PLUS and Arka is a neutral.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now with 2 rounds to go

1. Kolporter Korona Kielce 32 18 11 3 48:30 65
2. GKS Bełchatów 32 18 8 6 55:33 62
3. Arka Gdynia 32 17 9 6 42:23 60
4. Widzew Łódź 32 15 9 8 43:26 54
5. Kujawiak Włocławek 32 15 9 8 48:34 54
6. Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała 32 15 7 10 36:32 52
7. Zagłębie Sosnowiec 32 16 3 13 45:42 51
8. Jagiellonia Białystok 32 13 11 8 44:29 50

9. Świt Nowy Dwór Maz. 32 13 10 10 34:27 48
10. ŁKS Łódź 32 12 11 9 45:42 47
11. KSZO Ostrowiec 32 13 8 11 42:39 47
12. Górnik Polkowice 32 8 11 13 26:42 35
13. Ruch Chorzów 32 8 10 14 35:47 34
14. Piast Gliwice 32 9 6 17 23:35 33
15. Szczakowianka Jaworzno 32 8 8 16 36:36 32
16. Radomiak Radom 32 8 6 18 31:44 30
17. MKS Mława 32 7 6 19 25:46 27
18. RKS Radomsko 32 3 2 27 27:78 11

Widzew and Kujawiak are in the best Position, Podbeskidzie still has a chance, Jaga and Zaglebie are most likely out of it.

Kielce and Belchatow are positive additions. Kielce will be able to show off their new stadium in the Ekstrklasa and Belchatow (despite their size) gets above average attendance (in II liga) which would currently put them mid-range in the ekstraklasa. They are also from the richest "gmina" in Poland, thanks to the "Kopalnia Wegla Brunatnego" which also sponsors the club in part.

I'm not sure what to think of Arka. I guess the Triada fans will be ecstatic with all 3 of their clubs in the ekstrklasa (Lech/Cracovia/Arka). I'd rather they stay in II Liga.

Widzew deserves to be in the ekstraklasa. Lodz (2nd largest Polish city) must have a team in the top flite, and Widzew with its tradition deserves to be the club representing Widzew .... atleast I like Widzew more then LKS

I wouldn't mind seeing Jagiellonia and Bielsko Biala along with Sosnowiec in the there, but it will probably be Widzew.

Still, imagine replacing;

Amica Arrow Jagiellonia Bialystok
Groclin Arrow Zaglebie Sosnowiec
Leczna Arrow Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biala

funny thing (or sad thing) is that all of the three (Amica, Groclin, Leczna) have superior finances and stadiums then any of the three larger cities, yet their combined populations don't even match any of the 3 cities i mentioned.

Then in the future we expand the league and add Slask Wroclaw and Lechia Gdansk and we have a nicely represented League worth following

Im happy with Leczna because their stadium is nice too and they fill it up every week.

I couldnt Imagine Ekstraklasa without Amica and Groclin now.

Podbeskidzie , Zaglebie - z czym do Ekstraklasy??

LKS - Zdecydowanie na tak

Im really worried about like Wisla's,Legia's,Korona's stadiums because those idiots from Arka.... already shit like "Bojcie sie o swoje stadiony" is around the forums. Arka is a shithole, they wont stay up long but the will make the games more interesting. Going to Gdynia will sure be a eventful trip for the traveling fans... Evil or Very Mad

don't worry Arka is not that bad... when they came to Lodz they were all cool because we just had an agrement with them that we're gonna support our own teams instead of fighting

I'm not refering to their actual current situations. It was more hypothetical, such as Amica sponsoring Podbeskidzie or Groclin sponsoring Zaglebie... meaning it would be better if fate brought rich owners/sponsors to the larger more deserving clubs from "day one"

the ekstraklasa will definately benefit from these teams entering.. much better than having some farm teams like Polkowice come in... decent stadiums, big traditional names and good crowds is something that the ekstraklasa needs more of and these 4 teams ( assuming that either Jaga or Widzew make it) will bring all those qualities

Easier to build a farm team from the ground up, then be saddled with the debt of Widzew or Slask. It's not something that's necessarily good for Polish football, but from a business perspective, it's definitely beneficial.

Nice summary Gora, thx.

I tip Korona to get a European spot on their first season up. Their stadium sure looks nice but they could have at least made it a 20,000 seater considering the clubs ambitions and the size of Kielce.

I rather like that idea! Slask is working on it, but i can't see them moving up to the 1st div. right away after just a year in 2nd.
